Lethal League Review: Baseball with a Deadly Twist
Lethal League is a unique action game developed by Team Reptile, available on Xbox One. The game offers an opportunity to express your criminal desires, such as piercing your opponent's face, but not directly - in the process of playing baseball.
The game has six characters and seven rings, where an anti-gravity ball with each stroke accelerates from the speed of a turtle to supersonic speed. Every fifth hit allows you to use a special trick, and each character has a pair of peculiar ways to drive the ball right into the opponent's face, such as acceleration or deceleration of the ball. These techniques make the game shorter or longer.
Lethal League offers three game modes: online, extra, and versus. The online mode tracks players with a legal copy of LL, allowing you to find an opponent with geolocation. The extra option allows you to compete with the computer, improve your playing skills, and pump your team by opening new skill levels and increasing the palette of skins. The versus option lets you form teams for the game "two vs. two," which adds dynamics to the murderous match.
